Rione Barbarasa

Ultimo Rione della parte alta, situato quindi sul lato occidentale, segna il confine settentrionale di Piazza Grande e San Dalmazzo.

Questo toponimo deriva quasi certamente dalla zona prossima alla fortezza ed alle mura che doveva essere tenuta sgombra da alberi o da costruzioni, oppure dal fatto che qui esistesse una “casella”, cioè un posto di controllo per i viandanti prima che fossero ammessi ad entrare in paese.
